Why I Hate Ally McBeal

Welcome to the boards, @Spgphilly!
If it makes you feel any better, I never watched a single episode of Ally McBeal.

The early seasons of Ally McBeal were very good.

I always thought of Ally as an over achiever in high school and she studied very hard in college and law school. She neglected her social life.

Ally is a young lawyer and successful. She’s a bit inept at a social activities and relationships.

The best part of the show was the music that set the stage for the character interactions.

I was disappointed that Ally didn’t become more confident in the later seasons.

The writers started a very promising relationship between Ally and Robert Downey Jr. Sadly he relapsed and went back into drug treatment.

Naw, I just had one bumped after 23 years, and with a real answer.

:notes: “Oooh-gah-chacka-oooh-gah chacka.” :notes:

That must have been one of the first viral Internet memes – before we even had vocabulary to describe it.

Still makes me smile. There’s a new generation born after 1996 that haven’t seen it.

I guess you’re just a type-A personality or something. From my experience some people that seem to have it all can have some surprising insecurities. Some people have a very screwed up self-image. I’ve never seen that show, but a guy that used to sit next to me had her picture on his cubicle wall. Is Calista Flockheart still with Harrison Ford?
