What is your favorite incongruous movie moment - something that’s makes you want to sing-song, “One of these Things is not Like the Other…” ?
Mine:
Anakin finds his mother, brutally beaten and wounded by the Tusken savages. He cuts her down and she lies ther and says, 'Oh, you look so handsome!" That was, IMHO, so perfectly motherly I immediately stopped caring about anything that didn’t work in the flick. The line and the actor went ogetehr so flawlessly, and it was so bloody realistic. Moms are so like that!
Of course, you can use books or whatnot, too.
