Anyone else planning on watching this on Lifetime? I’ve seen the previews for weeks and it looks a hell of alot better than the usual crap that passed for a made-for-TV movie on Lifetime.
I am a bad, bad person. I really am. I know breast cancer is a killer, and that the book is really good, and I totally support the cause. But…
the first thing I thought when I heard about this movie was “I wonder if we’ll get to see Sarah Chalke’s boobs?”
I know. I’m going to Hell.
According to Sarah, she has a body double for the nude scenes
Hm, the first thing I thought was, I thought they didn’t let you wear lipstick, make-up, nail polish, etc. into surgery (1) for sterility reasons and (2) because the color of your nails, lips, and mucous membranes in general helps the surgical team monitor your oxygen levels and so on (IOW, they can see if you start turning blue). (Understanding, of course, that they have equipment for this purpose, but it’s just another check.)
Good movie. Lifetime found an interesting way to avoid breaking the American nipple taboo.
