Why is a woman's butt colder than her back & legs?

Something I’ve noticed – If you rub your hands down a naked woman’s back all the way to the legs, her butt is colder than the rest. Why is that? Is it just because there’s more fat there?

And – is it the same way with men? (I’ve never tried to explore that.)

Perhaps this should go in GQ but I don’t know if it’s serious enough.

My butt’s just as warm (or cold) as the rest of me. My husband’s ass, however, is often ice cold. And he wants to put it against me to warm it up. Brr.

I’d tell you, but then I’d have to kill you. Beware, those of you who want to explore the mysteries of the everchanging temperature zones of the female form.

We’ll never tell.*

*the extra insulation theory is a crock–hands have almost no insulation, nor do feet, but they’re like ice, aren’t they?
 <—mysterious, cold/warm/hot woman.

My butt is always cold. It behaves as an appendage, temperature-wise. I don’t know why this is.

I haven’t noticed this at all. Pepper Mill’s butt, especially if she’s been sitting or covered, is usually warm. Her hands and feet – that’s another story.

The only time her butt feels cold is after she gets back into bed after visiting the bathroom. In that case, it’s clearly because it’s been uncovered for so long.

Because the crack is letting the heat escape. Try stuffing insulation in there to prevent heat loss and maybe a nice silicon caulk.

There’s a crack in the front, too…

It’s where she stores the beer?

It’s so big there is more surface area to heat up so it never gets as warm as the rest of her body? With all that mass though… once it does warm up it should stay warm longer.

Is it fanned by frequent breezes?

Excellent Question. I think it should go to GQ.

I may be way off base here, but I’m guessing that this isn’t so much a question as it is a very subtle way of bragging that you’ve been getting some.

To actually answer the question, it’s because there’s more fat to insulate the skin from body heat.

Hey, this isn’t GQ.

No. It’s something I’ve noticed, intermittently, over the years (and most recently in a strip club), and only just thought of posting a thread on it. As with a lot of threads I post.

BTW – it could be the same for men, AFAIK. My own butt always feels to be the same temperature as the rest of me, but I’m not sure I can rely on that – it’s like listening to one’s own voice, you don’t hear the same thing as others do.

But I noticed the same thing, once, with a really thin woman who had no ass to speak of.

Yes, we get it! You have sex!

BTW, it does happen to men, also. I just assumed it’s because its an extremity, poking out away from the rest of the body.

My lovehandles (and my fiance’s) get very cold compared to the rest of the body. Just like butts.

I’m in the “more fat there” camp. My breasts don’t get cold because they’re held close to my body all day in a bra. They’re more likely to be cold if I’ve been sleeping.

Is she a well driller, by any chance?
