Seat temperature

Ok your sitting in a booth and have to get up to let someone out. When you sit back down you are in another person’s spot and the seat area feels warm. On the other hand if you had gotten up and sat back down in your own spot there is no difference. Why?

This is what myself and several friends hit upon on really slow night at the bar. So in a 4 butt survey we aggreed that the above scenario is the case, but we don’t know why.

If we were sensing differences in temperature why would the seat never feel cold?

Anyone?

Did you test the temperature of your friend’s butt in comparison to the chair? I think more data may be necessary.

Did you have people switch seats, or did you have people standing up, then sittting down?

This has been my experience as well. The grass is always greener on the other side of the fence, and the seat is always warmer if the other guy’s ass has been sitting on it
