Well, Dinsdale DID say that he worded it in a way that he thought would get attention, and he certainly succeeded at that far beyond what he probably expected. It’s silly to suggest people were LOOKING to be offended; rather, they found exactly the offense that Dinsdale put in the post.

You don’t get to post something in an inflammatory fashion and then get upset when people are inflamed by it.
Hopefully next time this issue is raised, it’ll be done in a calm, non-inflammatory fashion. I think Eva Luna is setting forth a much more reasoned case for the argument here.

What’s with the half & half? If you’re going to use dairy products on me, I insist on nothing but the finest…heavy cream, ultrapasteurized, 36% butterfat. But it’s even more fattening, which means it’s more capable of creating mass, and you can make it into whipped cream (which you can’t do with half & half). So then if you threw it at me, you’d be destroying mass, which means you yourself would be…drum roll, please…a Weapon of Mass Destruction!
