Why is child Porn so popular ?

If you go to any file shareing app and do a random search word say “sex” or “fuck” or “pussy” out 200 search results you’ll have atleast 50 that are labeled as to elude that they are Child porn.

Thoughts on why it is so popular, is it unique to file shareing - IE with such freedom people will disgress ? is it that file shareing is a good anonymous place and it attracts deviates ?

Or is Child Porn just popular ?

Many (most) claim to be child porn, when in fact it isn’t (the story is short - I had to up my sharing to use “Direct Connect,” so I just randomly d/led large amounts of porn, then looked through it later).

The rest… the anonmity is a big attractor, I would imagine.

Ya but regardless - if it is actually what it claims to be or not - there is a huge huge demand for it.

Is it just a western Taboo ? I understand until recently much of the world considered it legal ?

I think that the arena of file sharing gives a biased perspective. Normal porn is so ubiquitous on the WWW that no one would bother using file sharing to move it around. So all that is left to file sharing is the stuff that the mainstream web doesn’t touch.

      • I haven’t looked for it, but I wouldn’t say that there so much child porn, considering two things: first, compared to everything else on the net, the amount of child porn is very tiny. Secondly, the net is the easiest way for people to deal in child porn–it isn’t technically “legal” in any first-world country I’ve heard of. So there’s basically no other way to aquire or distribute it.
