You are of course entitled to your opinion. Of course, when I become Emperor, I will make an edict requiring that they be shown in all movies.

I think it is partly because of sexism, sure, but really you have to consider that even if a woman is standing or reclining naked in a normal position, you really can’t see anything of the sensitive bits of her lower reproductive parts, as they are mostly easily obscured. And it looks the same whether she is aroused or not.
As for men, it is all out there. And it certainly doesn’t have the same appearance depending on his state of arousal.
There’s a perception that a naked woman’s body is somehow more “tasteful” or “artistic”.
Not saying I agree, but it is what it is.

There are, of course, examples of fully naked men shown in movies. But it is certainly true that fully naked women are much more likely to be shown in movies. As noted, that’s primarily a function of the visibility of the penis and testes, one suspects.

I am in the more ‘artistic’ camp. Have you noticed in old renaissance art the man bits kinda look like foilage?
