And how do I get it back on?
If I recall, there was much concern that HTML code could be written that would be either danagerous or exploitive and it was too much to have to police. Besides which, HTML really doesn’t add anything to this type of board that the standard VB codes don’t already.
I actually meant my VB code. You know, like URL=… /URL. It doesn’t work now.

I just wanted to be sure it was working for me. I assume you’re using the same format?
You have to use the square brackets instead of the chevrons <>. I know when I try to use HTML on another message board, I always have to catch myself, as I am so used to the square brackets that I use them automatically.
Maybe that’s your problem?
What a superlative guess! Ding ding, No more calls, we have a winner!
Or, just use the little icon that looks like a globe with a chain to make your links.
Ding? No.
DONG!
DONG!
DONG!
I’ve always used the brackets at the SDMB.
Just what the hell is going on?
If you want, I’ll give you an example of a preview.
So you’re hand coding? Have you tried using the little icons, instead? I don’t know if it would make a difference, but maybe it will.
I looked at one of your posts, and you were using \ slashes to close your tags, instead of / slashes.
Bar sinister can bastardize an attempt at coding, all right!
D’OH, D’OH, and D’OH!
And :smack:
