I got Road Runner internet service installed 2 days ago. I love it. It’s so fast, zip, zang, zoom. It’s so fast.
But…here on the SDMB it’s just a little slower than it is anywhere else on the entire web. Why is that?
Speed isn’t just a function of connection speed; it also has to do with server speed. If a server is overloaded, its pages load more slowly, no matter what system you’re using to connect.
