Why is [the] Baha'i [faith] not more popular?

There are all kinds of upstart religions with great ideas out there, but it seems to me that every major religion became “major” right about when they gained some kind of government support. Most people stick with the tradition they grew up in, and I think the only way to have a massive shift is to bring together religious and civic life.

It takes generation after generation for not just the religions , but the ideas they teach to spread through society.Christianity began to change when more people became literate and were able to read and study the NT for themselves. It’s still changing.

IMHO a benefit is just the spreading and teaching of certain principles. Embracing science , supporting education and equality , all important.
