Works for me. I haven’t watched a new episode in over a year. I still love catching the reruns, though, and have purchased the first two seasons on DVD.
Of course, since I’m not a “Nielson Family,” the fact that I don’t watch new episodes probably won’t clue Fox in to my disapproval…

Actually, The Simpsons was very sucessful after the swich to Thursdays, consistantly topping The Cosby Show in the ratings. Especially impressive considering that Fox had 131 affiliates versus NBC’s 209.*

But it’s not just, “you’re wrong, I like the Simpsons”; it’s “you’re wrong because you’re jaded and have a faulty memory”. Plus, I wouldn’t be at all surprised if the ones who infiltrated this thread are the same ones who cry when their “Up with the Simpsons” type thread gets a negative comment.:rolleyes:
Opposing viewpoints don’t suck, but ragging on people for expressing a valid opinion does.
Oh well. I guess I need to watch the commentaries again, they talk about Cosby a lot in the Season 2 ones.
Maybe the should move to a new town, and start over with a whole new cast of characters.
And I think a trampy, busty Blonde named Rhonda who always drops by to chat should be one of them.
