Rigamarole:
Honestly, the term “racist” gets tossed about so casually these days (as well as “misogynist”) that it’s completely meaningless. There are plenty of valid reasons to criticize Trump, but saying he’s “racist” really isn’t one of them.
He tweeted a picture of a black man with a gun, accompanied by completely fabricated crime statistics that claimed that 81% of white murder victims were killed by black people.
That’s either profoundly racist, or merely race-baiting. Take your pick.
It also has to be pointed out here that his source was a neo nazi:
So today, this happened. Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump (yes, him again) re-tweeted the following blatantly racist graphic: "@SeanSean252: @WayneDupreeShow @Rockprincess818 @CheriJacobus pic.twitter.com/5GUwhhtvyN" — Donald J. Trump...
One of the big factors that points at where a person’s ideals are coming from are not only the company he keeps, but also what his sources are.
That tweet could be explained as a mistake… if it had no other examples showing what bubbles of information Trump likes to be into. His birtherism was a big clue already.
A little while ago, Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump once again retweeted an outright neo-Nazi. We reported on this last month, when he retweeted "@WhiteGenocideTM," a blatant racist who uses a picture of George Lincoln Rockwell,...
A little while ago, Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump once again retweeted an outright neo-Nazi. We reported on this last month, when he retweeted White-Genocide-TM [link broken for this quote] a blatant racist who uses a picture of George Lincoln Rockwell, founder of the American Nazi Party, as his avatar and links to a film about Adolf Hitler in his profile.
Oh, so just because he repeats neo-Nazi lies about how black people are murderers, now he’s a racist?! Get real people.
No, that is not stretching it. Do you really believe for a moment that birtherism is rooted in anything other than racism?

Given his inflammatory behavior during the Central Park rape trial, I’m not sure the answer isn’t both.
