Why isn't The Hangover at my local Redbox?

My gf keeps telling me about how hilarious the original Hangover was, and, having seen II, I definitely want to see I.
Of course, II wasn’t worth the 15 bucks, to me, that a disc of the original would cost, so I was going to rent HI from my Redbox. All over town, I have checked, and not only is it not in, but, the "rented’ icon isn’t on the screen, indicating they don’t have it.

Does anybody here know why not? I mean, even, uh, I forgot the name for the movie with the blue tiger woman, and the unobtanium, etc…but, Redbox had it out about 4 months later…so, why not the Hangover?

Thanks,
hh

Doesn’t Redbox mostly stock recent releases? (The Hangover came out on DVD a year and a half ago.)

Well, mostly, but, they have had some **old ****crap **(Michael Douglas’ “Don’t Say a Word”) etc…and I have been looking at least since December.

Thanks,
hh

Yeah, they don’t really keep movies that old usually. That box can only hold so many movies.

For future reference, you can search movies at redbox.com. It’ll show you the boxes in your area that have the movie.

Netflix has a 30-day free trial offer, so you could sign up to watch a few DVDs and then cancel, if that works for you.

Or set up a Redbox account so you can easily search every Redbox in your city without having to leave your living room.
