Why Isn't the IRS Investigating the Clinton Foundation?

You mean lead?

I imagine your next brilliant response will have something to do with a chicken or an egg.

You’re afraid of immigrants and Muslims, so the identity of the chicken is hardly in doubt.

I’m pretty sure some of these yet-to-be-unearthed emails will soon shed light on:

the missing 18 minutes of the White House tapes, Hillary’s ungainly fetish for nude Gangnam Style behaviour, and gripes about being a recent Sixers fan.

What’s the difference?

The plastic cost more. That’s why Trump bought Chinese steel for his buildings.

??? Asking that the actual name be used makes one not worth listening to?

How do you figure this?

If I refer to you as Swiller, and you say, “Ahem, that’s Miller,” that makes you not worth listening to?

Yeah, that whole exchange confused me. I’m aware that some people use “Democrat party” as an insult. I’m aware that some people take great offense to that insult. I don’t care about that insult. And that whole exchange still confused me.

Trumpy uses that one a lot…

People are saying,
Someone said,
They are saying,

But no attributable quotes, names, corroboration.
Because it’s bullshit.

If anyone does need investigating, it’s HIM.

Any moron can claim “someboday said”
Because it’s bullshit.

No shit. And the REALLY stupid ones post it up in an email.

…that gets stored on a computer

…and -

…then a bunch of idiots get ahold of it for some unholy reason

…and the whole thing becomes PUBLICLY AVAILABLE FACTUAL KNOWLEDGE.

Isn’t that special?

The FACT is that guy wrote that email. Stick that in your bullshit-spouting mouth and suck on it, dumbass.

People are saying you’re a dumb shit.
People are saying that.
Therefore, it MUST be true.

The idea that there’s any sort of significant distinction between “Democrat” and “Democratic” party - and that one is some sort of deliberate insult by wicked conservatives, would be a perfect straw parody of liberalisms tendency towards victimization and grievance farming, if it weren’t for the unfortunate fact that there’s actually a bunch of twits out there who really believe that. It’s the sort of dumbfuckery that makes me embarrassed to be a leftist, but this is generally the sort of low level idiocy one must endure as part of any broad coalition. But when someone like Rick Kitchen wanders in, with his smooth cerebellum unblemished by fold or wrinkle, and accuses me of not being a “real” Democrat because I dont care about his dipshit dogmatism, well, that rubs me the wrong way some.

Get back in your bucket.

Wow. You’re a moderator?

At the end most of the Communists weren’t even Communists, but kleptocrats like Putin and friends. But while I agree that Useful Idiot is appropriate also, it doesn’t quite bring out how Tailgunner Joe is spinning (drunkenly) in his grave at the Republican nominee kissing the ass of a former KGB boss - and how the useful idiots in the party are following right along.

No one got offended at being called Democrats. But the “Democrat” party was meant as an insult - being a claim that the party was not democratic. Plus it sounds worse.

Yes, we have enough examples of the idiocy I’m complaining about. No need to provide more, please.

The Democrat/Democratic distinction is a big one. It’s been brought up many, many times on this board. It’s not a straw liberal thing at all. The name is the Democratic Party, and “Democrat Party” is used as an attempt to attack them.

And Miller, you just used it as such. You admit you used it to troll–to fish for the people it would upset so you could enjoy attacking them.

You used it to be an asshole to Democrats, whether you are one or not. You try to piss people off, and they get pissed off. Imagine that.

Think of all the ‘clever’ names the left has for conservatives and you all cry about Democrat. C’mon now.

Oh, BigT, you precious, precious moron.

Do you actually imagine that anyone here - me, least of all - gives two shits what you think?

Honestly, not to wade into a dangerous morass or anything, but I have never understood how that’s an attack. I am a Democrat. I just don’t see the insult in calling it the Democrat party. I know it’s not the “official” name, but neither is the GOP the official name of the Republican party.

shrug I just don’t see the insult there.
