After once again shelling out $4.50 at Kroger’s to get my rice flakes, I wondered why there seems to be a generic version of every cereal under the sun (cheerios, frosted flakes, corn flakes, lucky charms, froot loops, etc.) except Special K! Does Kellogs own the patent to rice flakes or something?
