Why people label as colors?

Why are caucasian considered white, why are african american considered black, asians have yellow skin, and indians are considered red?? None of theses races come close to the color they are supposed to associated with there color. White people have that pale pink skin, that burns to easy in the sun. Black people look more like a chocolate color sometimes caramel. Asians considered to have that new age tan look that white people wish they have or go out and try to buy a tan. Why do people put things in some sort of category, which they cannot explain themselves. Even I can’t explain it. Maybe I just think too muck. Or maybe there is a logical explaination about all this nonsense. Go figure.

ummm… Krispy-person, mayhap this is not the best place for this?

Sig line!

I’m half icelandic, half lebanese.

I refer to myself as off-white. Its a joke, really.

I think that poeple classify others this way because saying “black” or “white” is easier to say then “african american” or “caucasion”. I’m not saying I agree with this, but I guess it has something to do with poeple being lazy.

:snort:

Pinkos.

Speaking!

When I first read this, I felt blue and sad. Then I was red with anger. Now I am feeling ill and turning green. It’s all put me in a very black mood.

Would you please try to be a little more politically correct?

“When I first read this, I felt Fugates and sad. Then I was Indian with anger. Now I am feeling ill and turning Oceanian. It’s all put me in a very Negro mood.”

There, that’s better.
