I’m positive it’s the large quantity of cheap boxed wine I just drank, but that made me guffaw out loud.
I’m no expert, but I think it was a reference to the fact that a long time ago (and maybe still?) people referred to a gun as a “gat”. Possibly because of the “Gatling Gun?”
