I mean, all we are to know is that she’s watches Jessie with those eyes, and she’s loving him with that body, the singer just knows it. And the singer looks in the mirror all the time and wonders what she doesn’t see in him: He looks cool, he’s a pimp (with the lines)…
OK, three minutes into the original video, she’s in the mirror with him- if THAT’s not a scary Bloody Mary-style apparition! No wonder he smashes the damn thing!
In the cover video, the singer’s girl is WAY hotter than J’s is! What is he thinking?
I recall being attracted to a friends girl years ago. No way was I crossing that line. It can be awkward. I quit going by his house for almost a year until he got a new gf. Friendship is more important then any Jenny.
That may be true, but it seems the song spells it Jessie.
As for the answer to the OP: The song doesn’t really say anything more than she has a great body, and treats her boyfriend well. The song is not really about her, despite the title. The speaker says he’s in love with her, but he not only apparently doesn’t know her name, but also would be satisfied to merely “find a woman like that.” No, the song is mostly about how he is jealous of Jessie’s having a hot girlfriend, and how it’s putting a strain on their relationship. The only reason he wants Jessie’s girl in particular is because she’s Jessie’s girl.
I guess that was just a longer way to agree with Antinor01, and, indirectly, Todderbob. But at least I added in that he’s also jealous of how Jessie’s girl treats her boyfriend.
