Why was the Soviet technology thread closed?

Imean I can’t see anything wrong with the discussion contents and civility . Its either a mistake or extreme arbitariness.

Mistake. I just pushed a wrong button. It’s open now.

Hey! AT least I didn’t ban the whole board.

On Soviet Message Boards…

No, I can’t do it.

I would just like to note that this is an example of a Mod admitting an error and fixing it. Thanks to all the Mods who certainly seem unappreciated at times.

(No sarcasm or irony implied or meant in any way.)

It wasn’t closed, it was temporarily inactivated for maintenance.

I haven’t quite come up with a plan for a post so vile, tortured, and irrational to inspire the last mod out the door (presumably to seek professional help) to ban the whole place…yet. I’ve been reading a lot of Vogon poetry as research though.

Thanks for the fix. How we deal with admitting errors says a lot about someone. You deserve double pay for today.

I expect someones pointing device is a touchpad.
The Touchpad: It’s like throwing a knuckleball at the screen!

The Soviet technology thread was never closed. Rumours to that effect have simply been spread by running dog capitalist lackeys who cannot accept that Soviet technology is superior to that of the decadent West.

What do you mean by “decadent?”
We’ve got more then ten teeth.

Okay, I’ll do it.

On Soviet Message Boards, Moderator bans YOU.

Oh wait a minute. Isn’t that how it works here too?

It wasn’t closed, it was just (given the subject matter) hacked and stolen by the NSA. Moderator with mysteriously excessive influence at NSA recovers same.

Oh, and BTW, who is this NewRalph124c guy?

There is not, and never was, such a thread as you running dog imperialist lackeys so caluminously claim in your Message Board of Lies.

I thought it was taken out back for some reeducation.

THAT actually was why I closed it, kinda sorta. I was trying to figure it out and forgot to reopen.

It only has a bad cold but the doctors assure us it is getting much better.

Quick – get a lot of classical music over to the radio station right now!

Huh. I thought someone was at the door.

And we have always been at peace with the Giraffe Boards.

Samclem was using Soviet technology.

I made a mistake once. I was going to apologize, but then after further examination it was determined I hadn’t actually made a mistake, it was more of a misunderstanding. I remain error free.
