In Fallujah, US Marines discovered the body of a Western woman - wrapped in a sheet and dumped in the street. Her arms and legs had been cut off and her throat was slashed. Her face was disfigured and she had been disemboweled.
She may be Teresa Borcz, a 54 year-old Pole, or Margaret Hassan, a 59 year-old Iraqi-Brit. Or she could be someone else entirely.
Even if you opposed the Iraq invasion, it is good to know that our boys are over there hunting down the soul-less animals who would do something like that to a helpless woman.
I do not care who you are. Whatever your race, creed or nationality…No matter where you are in the world…If you are in danger, the sweetest thing you will ever see is a US Marine with a rifle heading in your direction.
It’s such a good thing that everything over here in the western hemisphere is crime free and perfect, otherwise risking those Marines’ lives on foreign soil would almost have to be considered completely unnecessary.
Roseworm, that woman would not have been killed if there were Iraq invasion in the first place. It is merely a response to aggression. If America were invaded by superior forces, we’d resort to such tactics to dishearten the aggressors as well.
Even if you support the Iraq invasion, it is awful to know that our boys are over there hunting down the civilians who are desperately trying to survive in the midst of warfare.
I do not care who you are. Whatever your race, creed or nationality…when a US Marine with a rifle is heading in your direction, there may be nothing sweeter than to know that an insurgent will avenge your death.
I am perfectly aware this is not going to go over well, but I stand by it. And I am not trolling. Someone has to speak up on behalf of our troops. Someone has to take an unflinching look at the nature of our enemy.
They found that woman’s body on Sunday. And no one in the BBQ Pit saw fit to comment on it? Where’s the outrage? You call this the BBQ Pit? You are nothing but a bunch of spineless, sniveling, equivocating cowards. It is easy to take a stand when everyone shares your opinion.
Too many people on this board are weirdly disconnected from the Big Picture.
Really?
(actually the troops are for the most part brave good people. It’s the people in charge who sent them there that people might have an issue with)
Good luck still having posting priveliges after that one.
Too many people in the world are misguided about the big picture.
Okay, let me give you a list of other deaths you can start pit threads on, lest we turn your accusation back on you and accuse you of being a spineless, sniveling, equivocating coward who’s weirdly disconnected from the big picture.
As I see it, you’ve got at least 14,377 threads to go before you’re no longer a SSECwWDftBP.
It’s critical to understand that we support the troops, we’re against the reason they’re there. If you don’t understand the difference, there’s liitle we can do for you. I want them to get the fuck out of that hellhole as quickly as possible, so they can get back to their lives. You dare say we don’t speak up for the troops?
Fuck yourself.
Someone saw fit to comment on it. You. If we start pit threads on every injustice during this war, the board will freeze.
Actually, it was. Iraq was most definitely an enemy. However, it was a defanged, contained enemy that posed no immediate threat to us. Now, it’s a breeding ground for terrorism and a powderkeg that could destabilize the entire Middle East.
