Personally, I think if I were in this situation, at this point I’d back off and tell him, “Well, if you change your mind, let us know!”. It’s better to have an unofficial site while staying on good terms with the celeb than to keep pushing to get his “official” stamp of approval and possibly alienate him.
I remember your prior thread about how the fan club prez is interested in him romantically. Could it be that he has picked up on that and is reluctant to get too closely involved because he suspects there’s an ulterior motive?
Sorry that you guys experienced this disappointment.
Exactly what I was thinking.

What a pompous, condescending asshole you are, Subterraneous. Welcome to the Dope. You’ll fit right in.
Oh man, I thought I was in the Pit!
I’m emailing a mod.
I’m really sorry for that last post; too many windows open, not enough sleep.
Please, Subterraneous, accept my apology. We have rules here for polite behavior in this thread; displays of temper are only allowed in the Barbecue Pit forum. I sincerely hope my rudeness, wrong forum or not, does not prevent you from participating further in the Dope.
The proper thing for me to have done, if I felt your post was deserving of an angry response, was to have started a thread in the Pit and addressed it there. Within the rules of Cafe Society, I should have either ignored it in this thread, or attempted to discuss it with you in a mature, non-angry, non-personal manner. Again, I apologize.
Apology accepted—but spell my name correctly.
P.S. I’m originally from Puyallup.
::: Moderator speaketh ::: OK, mistakes happen, we’ve had apology and explanation, and acceptance. No harm, no foul. Well done.
