That is because while H4E’s posts her stuff from the bible, yours comes from uncited “manuscripts” that you probably don’t speak the language they are written in and NDE’s that are questionable in the first place. At least if you are going to have a crackpot idea have a source to quote meaningless quotes from. (or like the bible, at least have an unlreliable source that is well known to quote meaningless propaganda from)
Demons are “made up” in the minds of the individuals who fear them. They don’t exist in reality. Since you are spirit inhabiting a physical body. It would be impossible for a “demon” to inhabit you. A “demon” may inhabit your body only if you agree.
God is unconditional love.
Do you think reading something in a book will make you more comfortable with it. All the answers you seek, you already have, just ask yourself about it.
Which post was that? The ones about angels? Simple, there are angels. They are a separate creation from human beings. Lucifer rebelled, some of the angels went with him. They are now demons. I don’t see them as different ways of expressing beings of the spirit world. They are what the Bible says they are, period.
Same old "God doesn’t punish anyone mantra, which will always be at odds with what God has to say about it. Course He loves everyone, doesn’t change the other though.
Same old stuff you keep saying, so I keep saying my same old stuff. Bye bye
“If you know “fear” then IMHO you have never experienced God’s Love, for it dispels all fear. Jesus said that. Jesus also said to not judge, to forgive, to love even your enemies. Jesus said He did not judge man. You do not believe this, it is evident.”
This is the post I am talking about. It is on the previous page.
Yes, I keep teaching the same things that Jesus taught, God is love, don’t judge, forgive, etc., I do that because it is the truth.
Those are the main ones I post in but I have posted in others. I don’t know that I have specific key words I look for, I just look at the subject and question being asked.
Get real. He’s not visible to us, he’s of the spiritual word therefore I can’t show him to you or prove he exists. Look at the evil in the world and people who’ve been demon possessed. And yes the Bible does count because I happen to believe God wrote it, therefore it tells the truth about the spiritual world and the beings in it. If you don’t want to believe he exists, hey fine. Doesn’t change a thing.
His4Ever**, if you’re going to post in Great Debates, you’re going to have to LEARN HOW TO DEBATE!!
You’ve made an assertion; that Satan really exists. I’ve asked you to prove this and asked for evidence that can be independently verified. Bible quotions aren’t the type of evidence that can be independently verified. What other evidence do you have? Do you have any at all?
He’s not visible to us, he’s of the spiritual word therefore I can’t show him to you or prove he exists.
Then please stop making unsupported assertions. Ever hear of the adage; better to be silent and thought a fool than to open one’s mouth and remove all doubt?
If you don’t want to believe he exists, hey fine. Doesn’t change a thing.
I never said he doesn’t exist, I want you to prove that he does. Do you understand the difference between those two statements? You’re the one making that assertion, so back it up!
If you’re going to quote scripture, quote it accurately. Jesus is not telling his followers to murder his enemies. In the parable, Jesus speaks of the ‘King’ ordering his enemies to be brought to him to be killed. This, after the nobleman becomes King and returns home. (The parable concerns Jesus’ return to earth to judge all) He orders his enemies brought to him for judgment, not slain by the word of the follower. Big difference.
But I tell you who hear me; Love your enemies, do good to those who hate you, bless those who curse you, pray for those who mistreat you. Luke 6:27-28
MEBuckner, I believe it’s been pointed out, but just to clarify. If the God of the Bible exists, as he is described in the Bible, then, as the creator, he has the sole power to determine right and wrong. His written word is my guide, my standard. I have it to rely upon. I cannot say the same about any manmade rule. It is subject to change at a whim. Take a look at our laws today. Marijuana, abortion, death penalty, etc. There is no absolute when men judge. I have no faith in man.
I think that it has been pointed out many times also, that God didn’t write the Bible, men did. And a couple of women, maybe. Just like today, men and women write books on how they believe about God. If there is any consistence on morality in the Bible, I can’t find it.
And you do have faith in man. If you work or go to school or anything, you have faith you will be paid, taught or whatever by others. No one can live without faith, that would be impossible.

It’s still spoken of favorably in the parable. What the king is demanding be done to his enemies, Jesus is demanding the same. A google search shows commentaries giving it many spins. My Interpreter’s one-volume commentary sums up the parable of the ten minas as follows: “It declares that the rule of God calls for fearless venture; he who does not produce the fruits of repentance and faith is not worth of the kingdom of all. (b) The enemies of the king will be slain. Those who oppose the kingly power of Jesus (vs.14) will be destroyed. These are the Jerusalem leaders whose rejection of the Messiah seals the fate of their city.”

I would think for somebody that advocated loving their enemies in this lifetime, could at least be consistent by not promoting casting unbelievers into a burning fire for eternity in the next. If I’m to forgive mine, why can’t he? Is he sincere and being consistent when he also is supposed to have said the following in Matthew 10:34-38, Mark 13:12-13 and Luke 12:49-53? Does this sound like the same person who just said to love your enemies? And is that really a wise teaching? to love your enemies?
It is wise to love your enemies, if you wish to conquer them.
It is wise to love yourself, if you wish to be happy.
There are many contradictions in the Bible, so many that one could prove anything. So a choice must be made. Those who say they believe in, and follow the Bible only, are confused.
The spirit world consists of much more than heaven and hell.
“In my fathers house are many mansions.”
There are demons, but not as we think of demons. I consider my condition-Obsessive Compulsive Disorder-a demon. Fears and obsessions are like demons gaining hold of my mind. That’s how I choose to describe it to people who don’t know what it’s like.
Yes, that I understand. Fear is our only enemy, and it is sometimes a hard one to defeat. FDR said many times: “the only thing we have to fear is fear itself.”
I beat fear with the help of my NDE, and reading them has helped others to beat theirs. I have a board on my site for discussing such subjects. ndeweb.com
Fear is used in conjunction with graphic pictures of hell to scare people into joining churches. The only ones that go to hell are the ones that feel they are so bad that they must. In hell are loving counselors to help them understand they don’t need to be there.
Very interesting…and where in the Bible does it talk about these couselors in hell?? You keep coming up with these amazing things. I presume you learned this from a spirit guide? Man, oh man! Never heard that one before.
Whatever you say, dearest Lekatt. I still think you’re wrong about the afterlife. I know you trust your “spirit guide” sources but… Guess you’re still unaware of the warnings of the possibility of being deceived. Oh well…
