Hey…i’m doing a french project. We have to do a project on a frenchman of our choice and write about their life. I have obviously already selected Guy de Maupassant. I have to write two pages about him, one and a half about him (done), and the last half about why I would want him as my father. (We don’t have to be truthful in these projects.)
Now…would I really want an insane syphilis infested writer (and btw what writer IS sane?) as a father? So can you guys come up with some funny and quirky reasons for why I would like to have him as my dad?
Your responses can be cynnical as well…if you really so desire. Thanks, I know you guys won’t fail me. And yes, I know i make a lot of threads, or it feels so sometimes, but this is important.
I would’ve picked Max Robespierre. Reign of Terror and all that.
We all know who you woulda picked.
::muttering:: Crazy gun toting texans…:):)
Well, uh … it would be better than having one as a lover.
Sorry, that probably didn’t help a whole lot, but it’s the only thing I can think of.
Well, if you did have him as a father, and received a beautiful necklace as a birthday present, and went on to lose it…at least he would tell you it was fake so you wouldn’t ruin ten years of your life paying off debts incurred to buy a replacement.
Hehe, yeah…that’s true.
I’d actually prefer him as a lover, though…before he became a syphalic. Whatever they’re called.
Actually one girl in my class did hers on Maximilien Robespierre, Gun.
About three or four chose Rousseau. J’etais le seulement etudiant qui a choisi de Maupassant. Thanks for your help, guys.
