I was mentioning to a co-worker that I had heard that Wierd Al Yancovic’s father was a famous polka player. He said he had heard that Frank Yancovic was not related to Al. Anyone out there know?
I have heard the same thing, that they are not related.

“No, although they were friends for many years. (In October, 1998, Frankie passed away at his home in Florida at the age of 83.)”
Al’s parents names are Nick and Mary. He’s an only child.
