After he is finally dragged out of Washington I believe most of his base will turn on Trump and/or turn to someone else. Donald Trump is now a loser. The sucker money will dry up. It is just a question of how deep in debt he is and how much corruption can be proven.

The answer is based on what happens next. Will Donald gear up to run again in 2024 or just fade into the background counting the money he’s fleeced from the rubes? If he immediately starts running to win back the job that was stolen from him I believe his base will cheer him on an attend his next rally. If he walks away the loser that he his, which I think is unlikely, his base will start looking for the next Trump… and that certainly won’t be Pence. That bridge has now been burned beyond recognition. Perhaps Don Jr. will be ready for prime time by then…
I watched Trump’s address. He did not admit defeat or say he lost or that Biden won or that the election results were accurate. He said Congress has certified the results and a new administration will take office.
So it looks like he’s going to keep saying he actually won and Biden cheated. But he’s also going to leave. That makes it look like he’s doing so voluntarily rather than the reality that he’s leaving because he lost.
He concluded by saying “To all of my wonderful supporters, I know you are disappointed but I also want you to know that our incredible journey is only just beginning.” Which sounds to me like an announcement of a 2024 run.
Yeah, it seems at least a few of these dimbulbs are coming to the realization that they got suckered into: a) being summoned to DC on their own dime, b) being whipped into a frenzy by Trump, who claimed he was going to lead their glorious march to the Capitol, but instead c) bunkered himself in the White House while d) letting his followers do the dirty work he clearly demanded, only to e) cut them loose the second he figured out that doing so might, at least temporarily, save him from getting the chop. Er, figuratively.

Think about how many evangelical leaders have been totally disgraced by scandals. They get caught in flagrant sexual and financial scandals that would, for a normal person, end their careers.

Trump has his own church now, and will take it on a tour around the country, holding revival meetings in a hundred cities .
Remember the crowds screaming “build that wall!!”,. “lock her up!”? Trump will come up with a new slogan, and his base will chant it in unison.
