But not quite- as you see, his member was cut off and thrown away, HOWEVER, it was then gathered back and reattached. That’s the clincher. With modern medical technology, is it the fact that the member was injured, but then fixed and currently functional important, or need it be unblemished entirely? Also, John himself did not the voluntary “plucking,” as it were, but his wife did, which makes it a totally different animal, dontcha think?
