That’s actually fairly surprising - “Bad Romance” is a little old already.
And people in Africa do too know who Ellen is. Loved her sitcom. Hell, she was Dory, and Finding Nemo is, I think, the most popular Pixar film here with younger kids, going by observation.

Thais know Nemo and maybe Dory, but not Ellen Degeneres. They don’t really pay attention to who’s voicing what. Probably the same elsewhere.
