Will man ever be able to get day-old pork fried rice out of the container without making a mess?

I have never been able to.

And good luck trying to clean the rice up. Paper towel just mashes and streaks the rice across the counter.

Grrr.

But damn does it taste better the day after than fresh from the counter of the smiling Asian who sold it to me.

Yes. It will require nano-machine-based, self-cleaning counters, embeddable time-travelling chips in the little white carton (which causes the rice to go back to the day before when it was easy to remove), and genetically modified self-exiting rice.

These technologies will not be invented in our lifetime, but because of the time-travelling carton, you’ll be able to buy them next Thursday.

Ugh…for some reason, the only Chinese takeout I don’t think is better is the fried rice. It gets too dried up and shrived. I guess if that’s your thing, more power to you, just not for me.

So I guess I’ve never made a mess dropping the whole box into the trash bin.

Add a tablespoon or so of water before microwaving and it gets good and moist.

I like to make some refried fried rice with extra eggs scrambled in for breakfast.
