Will stem cell research be able to help burn and facial scarring victims?

I meant help as in being able to even cure the most severely burned and scarred victims, as no one deserves such pain. Recently, the Japanese team lead by Shinya Yamanaka was able to create stem cells from human skin rather then using human embryos. This work represents a scientific milestone as scientists can now carry out independent research without the ethical issues. I was wondering then, since they are able to recreate stem cells from human skin already, would they be able to cure burn/facial scars victims successfully? From what I know, the scarring process is very complex. Scientists might able to find a cure; it might be next year, 5 years later, 10, 20 or who knows maybe never. But the progress is very encouraging with all the funding that is going on for stem cell research. I am very excited about it and will like to hear your personal opinions…
