Someone in another thread earlier today posted one of the dirtiest, most disgusting things I’ve ever seen in my life. It was absolutely hilarious.
It was a roughly 2 minute clip of Eric Cartman of South Park fame telling a joke. The clip can be seen here (WARNING: this video clip could be considered incredibly offensive. DO NOT watch this if you are easily offended or squirmish about topics of taboo sex. This clip is not work safe.)
Anyways, I did a little research, and it turns out that Penn is making an entire movie out of this joke (link.) He’s going to have 100 comedians tell their own versions of it and he says that the South Park one is not even in the top 5 dirtiest.
What do you guys think about this? Will it come to the land of the free or will it fail to pick up distribution or (gasp) be banned?
If it comes, does anybody know when? I cannot wait to see this :D.
I think it’s funny because the teller of the joke gets to absolutely lambast you with the sickest possible shit his demented mind can churn out for as long as he wants with absolutely no payoff.
It’s like a grotesque, twisted rendition of a shaggy dog story.
Of course, a shaggy dog story loses its edge when you know what it is, but I’m curious how sick these guys got if Penn says that the South Park clip isn’t even in the top 5.
Am I the only person who read the thread title as the Aristocats?
I was really confused that someone was filled with hope that someday they could own that on DVD.
That clip is the extent to which they will be in it. The movie consists of 100 different comedians telling their own version of that joke. That clip is Trey Parker’s version.
Oh, I know. I just don’t think I’ve seen them in anything other than a SP environment (save bootlegs and ripoffs, of course).
I have to wonder, though, how many people would want to see a movie consisting of people telling the same joke over and over again, albeit in different ways. And an inside joke, at that.
