Will the Carolyn Gombell murder be what takes Trump down?

I don’t think this is true. He loves taking things from the uneducated. He loves to take their money, he loves to take their votes. As for the people themselves, he has no use for them. There are only two kinds of people in his mind: Himself and the Children of a Lesser God.

Carolyn Gombell, wasn’t she one of the victims of the Bowling Green Massacre?

I’ve said before that the biggest mistake Trump supporters are making is thinking that Trump loves them back.

Who would have guessed that killing somebody in New York City was the only campaign promise Trump was going to keep?

The only thing Trumps base truly care about is dominance of out groups. As long as Trump is cruel to non-whites, feminists, democrats, immigrants, muslims, etc. his base will love him. I’m sure they know Trump has to give lip service to opposing white nationalism, but his actions and consistent verbal abuse of them are what they really love.

The only thing that would truly bring Trump down with his base is if he consistently supported treating minorities well.

Democrats should run a propaganda campaign showing Trump supports black lives matter, affirmative action, muslim immigration from Syria, latino immigration, women in power, separation of church and state, America becoming a minority-majority nation, voting rights for black people, etc.

Thats the only thing that’ll demoralize his base. His base don’t care about rule of law, the constitution, right/wrong, competence, corruption, policy, etc.

For his base to hear about such a campaign, FOX would have to cover it.

I agree with all this, but would add that for the Trump base, image is everything. And their need to believe that Trump is the strongest bully on the block is primal.

Anything that shows Trump’s cowardice and weakness–his essential nature as a loser–is going to bother the base. (IF they get to see it, of course.)

I’ve often thought that the July 2018 (Helsinki summit) footage of Trump walking out to the press room after a private meeting with Putin—the video in which Trump looks like a dog that’s just been whipped, and Putin looks happy as a clam at high tide—should be the basis of a campaign ad. Trump’s fans may love Putin, but they can’t love seeing Trump being servile and submissive to Putin—that doesn’t work with their personal mythology at all.

(Oddly enough I’m having trouble finding that footage online. Have allies of Trump realized how bad it makes him look? A few seconds of the “whipped dog” walk can be seen at each of these links: )

As for the “Carolyn Gombell” thing: yeah, it’s counterproductive. While I can fully understand people on the left crying out ‘they get to cheat, so why shouldn’t we?’ the answer is that voters on the right are fine with lying and cheating—but voters in the middle and on the left are not. So lying and cheating won’t be helpful.

Showing up Trump as an inept and insecure loser: that is helpful.

Indeed, that’s what I thought as well as, and was planning on posting this if no one else had.
