Will the lack of sleep have a significant impact on my vision?

I’m just asking this quick question as it’s now 2:30 AM local time and I’m still working on a project for university, I have to get to work in exactly 5 hours and then after that go to my course, and then possibly sleep 8-10 hours and then friday morning I have an eye-exam.

I have the feeling that I won’t sleep more than an hour or two tonight and that I’ll still be tired friday morning.

So I would like to know if the fact that I’m really tired will have a short-term impact on my eyes; and if that might result in getting a prescription that wouldn’t be appropriate under normal conditions?

Fatigue can make it very difficult for your eyes to focus, meaning it takes longer to change from looking at something close up to looking at something far away. It can also cause your eyes to water more than usual, which is irritating.

so, do you think an optician will be fooled and beleive my eyes are worst than they really are?
