I know the TV transmitters were on the old WTC and they are currently on the Empire State bulding.
But in the article in the Wikipedia it says
One World Trade Center will be the tallest building in the United States and one of the tallest in the world, with its radio antenna reaching a symbolic height of 1,776 feet (541.3 m) in reference to the year of American independence.
One World Trade Center, also known as One WTC and as the Freedom Tower,[note 1] is the main building of the rebuilt World Trade Center complex in Lower Manhattan, New York City. It says specifically radio tower, so does this mean the TV stations are going to stay on the Empire State Building?
Elsewhere in the article it says:
A mast containing the antenna for television broadcasters – designed by a collaboration among SOM, artist Kenneth Snelson (who invented the tensegrity structure), lighting designers and engineers – is secured by a system of cables, and rises from a circular support ring, similar to the Statue of Liberty’s torch, to a height of 1,776 feet (541 m).
Television broadcasting uses radio waves, so it’s still a radio antenna.
