As someone mostly recovered from paruresis the premise is silly. Homophobia, really? If we’re going that direction most guys don’t want others to see their penises even if the other guy is not interested.
Guys see other guys’ penises all the time in locker rooms, saunas, etc. I know we’ve had threads here about the younger generation being more bashful, but I can’t think of a reason other than homophobia to be uncomfortable with another guy seeing my penis. It’s just a penis. They all (generally) look alike.
I don’t think most non-Finns go to saunas or non-athletes spend time in locker rooms.
But some people have size anxiety, others are just awkward.
Yeah, I honestly cannot remember the last time I saw another guy’s penis in person, or had another guy see mine, but it’s been years, maybe decades.
Me, I’m nearsighted since birth, and since I don’t wear glasses when I’m naked, other guys have always been just a blur.
For me, it’s been hours. 
Used them in several sports venues.
