It’s a pain in the ascii for the mods and admins, especially when people are pancaking around being motherpancaking pancakers and pancaking all over everything.
but they could make it a few months and make that an auto-cutoff to discern necro posts from non necro posts.
but editing = pain in the ascii for mods. Much more work and nose wiping of the few droolers who insist on abusing it. So it’s five min to tone down on a few “oh crap I screwed up the coding posts” and keep some gerbils happy while not giving much room for the jerkpods to abuse the ehck out of it.
