While we’re listing stuff we’d pay cash money to the Chicago Reader for – I’d love an “SDMB” sticker for my car – one of those oval things ripping off the European country IDs.

Oh yeah. One other item not clothing. A calendar - along the lines the one the ChiReader currently puts out. Except with a Cecil column & the Slug drawing each month instead of the Chicago-themed photos. The new SD calendar could even use exactly the same format as the current ChiReader calendar; just replace the photos. I’d like to have one of those hanging over my desk.

Ooh! I would so buy one of those! And give them as gifts. And then buy some more. Every year!

I’d buy a simple tee-shirt with Straight Dope tag lines on it. Something other Dopers would recognize and say hi (or not), and non-Dopers would get intrigued about, if they’re conscious enough.

Print up an “oh, it’s a 1920’s-style death ray” tee-shirt and I’ll buy it.

I am in agreement, I’d buy a t shirt in a heart beat if it wasn’t so hideously ugly and require a lengthy explanation as to what exactly it’s supposed to mean.

I check back at least once a year, to see if the hamsters have come up with anything better. Alas, I fear they are not up for it until they unload these awful things.

As a home sewer, I’ve decided to make my own.

Something tasteful and understated. Small logo, tag line like that.

I’d buy tons of SD junk were it available. And, of course, were it not hideously ugly.
