Given the subject matter, can’t help but wonder if it will be shown there. Can/will the Japanese government prevent it from being shown?
No release date so far.
There’s a vocal minority (especially among the young “netizens”) questioning why there’s no plan to release it in Japan. Some have viewed it overseas and written up a synopsis and review on various blogs.
It’s not the government preventing it being shown here. It’s just a business decision by companies not to pick up a movie that might not generate mass interest due to subject matter, not to mention a marketing nightmare.
