Well seriously, I wish that the media would leave her alone too. It’s not like she’s acting like an attention whore or anything.
The MSM cover up for one of their preferred politicians? No! How shocking!
Really? And you’re a great sorcerer… And I’m the king of Cashmir. Go to sleep, Willow.
I had cool parents. I did that while they were IN THE HOUSE!

Me too.
I hope this is true, simply because I loves me some good meaningless scandal. It’d be nice to see Palin called on the carpet for being a bad parent. It’s possible that this is a fake story, which could’ve been planted by either political party.
However, I don’t think it really indicates much about Sarah Palin, the wannabe politician. Well, unless it really comes out that she pulled strings to get Willow preferential treatment… in which case, screw her. One of my big pet peeves is those with connections getting the royalty treatment.
Nice.
Shit, when I was 15 and my parents went out of town, I used to throw beer-bashes at the house too. What’s the big deal?
Wait a minute. Holy shit. I think my parents might be …
… Republicans!
I suspect it might be more accurate to say that mainstream has gone National Enquirer. Some of the factual stories these days would have been pipe dreams of a tabloid reporter only a decade ago.
Still, if I never heard the name Sarah Palin again I would be a much happier man.
Well said.
Or perhaps deaths by whale (dangerous huge animals I’ll grant but amazingly easy to avoid) and missing rich white teenagers and celebrity infidelities are just much bigger social problems now than they used to be.
I blame liberals for all that.
Did you throw beer bashes at YOUR house, or did you break into the neighbor’s house to do it?
My attorney has advised me not to answer this question.
When I was 15 and my parents left me went out of town, I played video games and watched my bootleg porno collection. OK, so that’s not any different than when they were at home.

If a woman who shoots wolves out of helicopters can be a spokersperson for an environmentalist program and her teenaged unmarried pregnant daughter can launch a career as a spokesperson for abstinence, this whole shenanigan is obviously Willow’s way of announcing that she’s now a spokesperson for sobriety.
That’s your idea of “predictable results”? The worst thing my friends did at 15 was steal their mother’s Happy Pills and try pot!
The pulling strings to get preferential treatment, if true, is the part that irks me. I am reminded of something from my past.
When I was in junior high school (back when dinosaurs roamed the earth), there was a scandal regarding some of the high school kids. A bunch of them who were the sons and daughters of the prominent citizens of town had been having a party (with alcohol IIRC) when some of the boys got to horsing around with a gun. One of the girls was accidentally shot in the abdomen. She was not killed but the gunshot destroyed her ovaries.
The parents all closed ranks (including this girl’s parents) and basically were sucessful in getting the incident swept under the rug. The boys were not charged with anything and did not suffer any consequences (that I’m aware of).
That always rankled me; not only that these kids were not held to the same rules as the rest of us, but that those parents would sacrifice one of their own just to keep a scandal from causing damage to the rest of them.
FWIW, supposedly they had the best and most thorough coverage of the O. J. Simpson story. The mainstream media didn’t want to admit it. After busting John Edwards they could no longer be ignored.
Ever see the movie “Hot Fuzz”?
