Isn’t Willow supposed to be a lesbian? Does anyone else know besides Tara?
Yes, she is, and the entire scooby gang knows it. In the episodes with Faith last season, she picked up on it, too.
She had a great line about it, but I don’t remember it exactly…
IIRC, Spike made sure everyone knew when he was messing with everyones minds for Adam.
Oh, and in the Buffy-confronts-the-spirit-of-the-original-slayer season finale, part of Xander’s dream sequence had Willow and Tara making out in the back of the ice cream truck (while Anya drove by “gesticulating wildly” ).
Why do you ask?
Gee, and I was about to say “No, of course not! He had a wife and two kids when he found the baby princess who was to be the bane of Queen Bavmorda.”
I’m trying to understand this whole Buffy show. Watched the new season for the first time last night. Saw a few episodes last year, so I know who some of the characters are.
But am not sure I can follow.
Like I don[t understand how the sister Dawn was introduced. Someone said in another post that she is a “key” and everyone’s minds were altered to think she was Buffy’s sister…except Buffy & Giles. Well how do the two of them know she is a “key”?
Is that why last night the snake stood in front of Dawn (while she screamed) and Buffy told Giles “She Knows”?
Who is Glory?
ah, well, that changes things. As you can tell, I never watch the show, but I know people who do, so I may be able to fill in some of the blanks:
Glory is evil. She is strong. She appears to be this seasons nemesis. Don’t worry too much about it if you can’t figure out exactly who she is.
Dawn just magically appeared this season. My, uh, friends missed most of the episode where she was explained, but, yes, she was conjured by the forces of good and put under Buffy’s protection; then everyone had the idea that Dawn had always been there implanted in their minds.
She is a “key” to something, and Glory is looking for her, but I^H my friends know not why. Dawn being the Key is, in fact, why it was so important that Buffy kill the snake thing before it reported back to Glory.
“So Willow’s not driving stick anymore” IIRC And, I’d go with bi, but they haven’t been really clear on that.
As for Glory and the key bit, it hasn’t been explained yet, so you’re supposed to be confused. Buffy found out when she met one of the monks (who was killed by Glory) who made the key into Dawn. She told Giles but no one else because she didn’t want to freak out Dawn.
Consider http://www.buffyguide.com, http://www.enteract.com/~perridox/SunS, or even http://scifi.ign.com as good episode guides.
If you want the back story, poke around for awhile. There are also many very good message boards devoted to Buffy wherein you can ask questions to your heart’s content… they might give you a much better answer than any of us can. Or at least be willing to go into more detail.
Three episodes before Buffy had a “Once in a Lifetime” experience when she discovered that Dawn is not her beautiful sister. It was otherwise very vague. Ardent Buffy fans like me sense that Dawn’s presence is neither fully nor adequately explained. Gee, I hope Dawn doesn’t turn into Scrappy Doo and ruin the excellent series.
