Buffy 5/14

Welly welly welly well.

Did I miss Tara in the opening credits?

Holy shit… Misfits’ “Die Die My Darling”!! What a perfect song for Buffy.

Bored now!

I can’t believe she said that! I don’t think Willow ever knew that that was Evil Willow’s catchphrase.

Great episode.

But I can’t wait for next week. “Show me what you got and I’ll show you what a slayer really is.” Gives me chills

Oh yeah… Ever since we saw the vamp Willow I knew something was gonna come of it!

Mwa ha ha ha ha ha!

Anyone have any idea what Buffy could do against Willow???

Not only same catch phrase as Vampire Willow, but also same hairstyle and similar outfit. I wonder if this is going to be Alyson Hannigan’s way of getting off the show to do movies?

Against Willow I think a hit from a troll god hammer or a Fist of Righteousness™ might do the trick. Sure Warren couldn’t handle it but Buffy beat a god into submission. There will be a mass of violence next week.

My main question is did the magic skinning instantly kill Warren or did he survive and get teleported elsewhere by Willow? For instance into a large amount of salt.

The new winner in my Top Ways I Don’t Want To Die:

Peeled By a Witch.

I’m pretty sure Warren was killed instantly.

Almost certainly something has to happen to “short out” Willow’s powers. Even if she becomes all goody-goody again, she’d be able to squash just about any future bad guy too easily.

Or, she’ll get killed.

I am really enjoying this season despite the rampant depression. They almost lost me until Riley, who just may be the least charismatic character in television history, left.

I am looking forward to Willow’s rampage, but I wonder where that will leave the gang for next season. I would love to see the next season open up a little lighter than this one seems likely to end.

And then there were two… so I imagine Willow wants to get the other two… think she’ll get either of them before Buffy can stop her?

Is Spike going to be next season’s big bad? Can’t be… Buffy has whooped him so many times. Unless that demon? I’ve missed all of season 5… have we met this demon before?

My brother and I had the same guess about Spike. He asked the demon to return him to the way he was before. And the demon laughed.

Sure, Spike meant “before the chip.” What if the demon takes a longer view of things?

Stay tuned next season for the return of William!

She’s already signed for next season. Every one of the “main” players are, I believe.

Oh. My. God. I just finished watching it.

This was the best episode of the season (so far). Even better than naked Spike episodes (at that should tell you how much I thought of it). I can’t wait until next week!!! I don’t think I can put together a coherent post about this episode… and the preview for the 2 hour season finale? Whoa boy!

“Bored Now.” Chills, I tell you… Chills!

Add to that having a bullet slowly driven through your body and then being burned to ashes.

I loved Warren’s scenes with Rack and the guys in the bar, particularly the guys laughing at him and Rack’s “She’s going to tear this town apart, starting with you.” It seems to me that most of the vamps and demons in Sunnydale-or at least the smarter ones who didn’t want to move-would have adjusted to the Slayer’s presence by now.

Warren’s death was slower than I thought it would be, but Willow might have been pressed for time, with Buffy so close. Willow was certainly creative. It looked to me like he died, but I wouldn’t be bothered about it if Warren had been transported to another dimension. I liked Tara, damnit!

Clem was wonderful, as usual. CountryTime! Bugles! The Wedding Planner.

I thought Buffy was remarkably sanguine about getting shot and nearly dying. Warren killed her friend, who was also her best friend’s lover, and would have killed her without Willow’s intervention. He has a lot of magical devices at his disposal and has shown he is willing to use them. Yet this man deserves to go to jail? Let the police handle it?

Oh my, oh my, oh my. Wow.

What I really liked about the episode?
1)Well, it indicated why the vamps don’t try to use a gun on her. You gotta be a good shot because slayers heal fast.
2) All along, we were supposed to believe that Willow was addicted to magic, but the previews of next episode indicates that all along it’s been the power.

Shoot, I really liked everything.

Rack is kinda hot. Reminds me of Steven Tyler.

I cannot begin to imagine how they are gonna bring Will back from this…

She might be the major villain of next season.

Yeah, Warren is dead…really dead. After she skinned him, she barbecued his ass. Don’t think there’s any coming back from that. IMHO, he deserved worse.

“One down…”
