Buffy Season Finale, SPOILERS

Wow, a season ender that isn’t totally depressing. Most everything worked out nicely. The final line has me hopeful for next season, from the dark creature who was testing Spike after the tests were passed, “Very well… we shall restore you soul!” I figured that that’s what the tests would yeild, since the dark creature never specifically said he’d take the chip out.

:o Oh sure! Just ruin the whole damn thing for me!!!

Oh, I guess it did say “spoilers” didn’t it?

How did you manage to see it already? I thought Buffy ran on Tuesday nights in the States (?)

It does run Tuesdays, it’s just that Buffy ended last week.

Well, now I’m really confused. It ended last week? I thought the finale was this week.

The finale is this week. I just checked the UPN website.

Sua

The finale is tonight. It’s two episodes back to back, in which Willow has gone over to the Dark side and is trying to kill the other tow geeks, Andrew and Jonathan, and then to destroy the entire world, in which Buffy and Willow have one badass confrontation. The OP appears to have had a case of episodus interruptus.

Ah, thanks. I hated to think that I had somehow missed the only season finale I’m interested in this year.

Oh, wow! Good thing I checked back-- damn. I missed Angel last night, and I would have been SUPER pissed if I’d missed Buffy this week.

Man, that was close.

My favorite part was when Buffy realized she also had lesbian urges, and then she and Willow collapsed into each other’s arms and commenced with the lip-smacking tongue-probing finger-exploring sappho flesh-grinding, then Anya joined in, and the three became a sweaty, slippery, tangle of arms and legs and…

Damn! Need to buy yet ANOTHER keyboard…

Um, so is G.I.J. ever going to explain how he/she saw the finale a day early? Is this all part of some time-travel spell that resolves this season’s plotlines?

While I would like to say that I do indeed control time, alas I cannot. Here in Nova Scotia the channel that carries Buffy and Angel (ASN being said station) shows them on opposite nights as UPN. So I get Buffy on Monday, and Angel on Tuesday.

In Manitoba, we have to wait until Thursday (the same episode is run again on Saturday.)

Well it is a hell of a show so far. Damn (45 min in the first hour)

HELL YES.

Wow, how did the OP know that Spike got his soul back? GREAT SEASON ENDER!!!

Willow has some serious fences to mend, and it was great to see Giles back, if only for one ep.

Awww. I feel all warm and fuzzy.

(But I thought the naked tongue god would turn into Tara. Just 'cause that’d be subtle)

Darth Rosenberg?

I loved that Spike got his soul back. If he’d gotten the chip removed, so what? Been there, done that. This? This is new… I was just about to give up on this show, but now I can’t wait to see what will happen next season. I just hope it’s less depressing than this season.

Excellent ep.

“I was once a bad-ass vampire. Until love, and a pesky curse defanged me. And now I’m just a big fluffy puppy with bad teeth.”
-words that have come back to bite ol’ Spikey in the butt.

Mexico, eh? Anyone else have this horrible feeling that the new member of the Trio will be Harmony?

My question for next season:
Okay, Spike has his soul back – is he still a vampire, though?
