On our recent vacation, we ( meaning ME) sent home postcards from one area we visited: Ribe, Denmark. ( The oldest city in Denmark. Very pretty. Two thumbs up.)
The pc I sent one of my Doctor’s (brown nosing never hurts) was greeted with more than the usual level of enthusiam over receiving it.
Apparently, one of the nurses swears that the final scene in Willy Wonka, where the elevator shoots out of the roof and over the city was **filmed * in Ribe, Denmark.
Having not seen the movie in years and have never paid attention to its credits, I just " Oh really…" to the staff who said the red tiled roofs and church steepled sky line is exactly the same. Ummmm. pretty much how most of Northern Europe cities in this area look like this.
I don’t think they are ;j 's. Just exciteable.
Naturally, I need to know I am right on this matter.
