I wrote some procedures [about 20 of them, and in Word] that were effective 12/31/2000. The individual procedures have the dates I last changed them. I would like to set their dates all to 12/31/2000.
Is there a utility I can use? Do I have to change my computer’s date to 12/31/2000, then open each one and save it?
That would do it, but if the point is to let people know when the rules were last changed then a better solution would be to label the procedures: “Effective 12/31/00” in the body of the document, on the Custom tab (visible when you right-click a Word 2000 document in Win2K) or editing the Custom or Summary information available when you open the file in Word and choose File>Properties.
