I’m personally a huge fan of Win Ben Stein’s Money. Such an intelligent and funny show. When Jimmy left, I thought… “Aw man… Who they gonna get to do it now?”
Now I’m blessed with this glorious vision of lovliness that is Nancy Pimental. I didn’t like her at first, but the more I watch her… the more beautiful she gets.
My SO blows her outta the water (read: covering my ass), but still she’s straight hot. Anyone else share my opinion?
BTW- Wasn’t there someone on this board who was gonna be on Win Ben Stein’s Money ? I thought I remember reading something about that. Whoever you are, I hope you did well.
Yeah, Anniz blows her out of the water, too, but she’s not on TV, so I’m allowed to have that goofy “she’s so damn good looking” smile on my face when I watch WBSM.
And, it was EJsGirl who was on, and she didn’t win.
Too friggin’ chipper. It grates on my nerves. And the way she dresses also annoys me. At least get some jeans without patches if you’re gonna be on national television.
Jimmy was much more spontaneous, whereas it seems Nancy is sent lines by the writers. But I think she could be funny on her own, given the opportunity.
It is still an entertaining show, give them a chance to get feedback and make adjustments. Plus, who do you want to see in a tight shirt, Jimmy or Nancy?
I’ve only seen a few of the shows with Nancy, but it seems to me that her voice is too soft. Sometimes when she’s reading the question categories, which are full of terrible puns, that her voice gets lost in the audience’s laughter.
Obviously she looks better than Jimmy, and she’s obviously trying very hard, so I’d say the show’s in good hands.
Nancy had a very rocky start, which is why they are showing episodes in no particular order, the assumption being that she got better and more relaxed as she went along.
She had a hard time reading the catagories without mangling the words, resulting in lots of re-taping with the audience reacting AGAIN. Some catagories are very funny, but not the fourth time you hear them, so if the audience laughter sounds forced, that’s why.
Of course, the editing on the show is so smooth, you don’t realize which lines are live & which are re-tapes, so for all we know, Jimmy messed them up too.
I liked the chemistry between Jimmy & Ben, but Nancy’s ok. It’s not like I watch the show to see the co-host (I watch it to see ME, of course )
