I’m using a computer at my favorite customer’s office. There is a small section of the monitor taken up by McAfee Security Center. I cannot get rid of it. I can’t move it. Any clicks of the mouse go unheard of. I’ve tried /desktop/refresh to no avail! (Where’s my 9mm when I need it?)
If it’s Windows XP, hit control/alt/delete, click on “task manager”, go to “applications”, find McAfee in the list, select it, and hit the “end task” button at the bottom. Bet that will do it.
If that doesn’t do it, I have a .54 caliber black powder rifle at home you can borrow…
Have him install the complete Symantec suite, that should do it!
