I have this happening on two computers now.
When I right click something (file, folder, web link, network location, drive, pretty much anything), I get the hourglass for 10-20 seconds before the shell extensions will pop up. I would think this has to be registry related, but I really don’t know much about registry repair. (When I was a ComSci major for a year, it was in the days of Windows 3.1.) On my home computer (that I’m just about to scrap) there is also about a 1 in 5 chance of the computer locking up anytime I right click something. I’m mainly worried about my work laptop. It just started this a week or so ago, but it has yet to lock up. It just has to “think” for quite a while. Any ideas?
