Oh, if we’re including the Quickstart icons as well, then I have 5 more:
Internet Explorer
Outlook Express
Net2Phone
NetMeeting
and
Winamp
Bolding mine. Can someone post an easy-to-understand explanation of exactly how to do this? It may not have been clear from my first post, but I always have to ask my friend to tell me how. There’s some way you do it through windows that is very easy and makes your computer start up and run MUCH faster. But I forget how – and it seems like a lot of posters to this thread would like to know.
thanks.

In Win98: From the Start menu, choose run. Type “msconfig” (without the quotes). Click the Startup tab. All the stuff you see in there is starting when Windows starts, uncheck what you don’t want.
Capacitor, with 28 icons is there any room left on the taskbar?
Since GO.com died, I haven’t tried any express searches to see if they still work. Probably best to delete it.
On the left side, all I have is HP Internet Center, IE, Outlook Express and Show Desktop.
