Now I’m nursing my grumpiness, and putting a pot pie in the oven.

I’m going to bet after a shift like that, the pie was not the only pot of the evening.

Whenever they served pot pie on the boat, I’d grab a comment chit and turn it in: “Pot pie – too much pie, not enough pot.”
