Wireless logitech mouse and OS X

I just installed the logitech v 200 wireless mouse to my imac g5 running os x. I want to make the cursor a little less responsive to movement, and can’t seem to find out where the software controls are hidden.

Have you checked “System Preferences” (under the Apple menu)? There should be a “Keyboard and mouse” preference pane to set that.

The last Logitech mouse I bought, corded, did not come with Mac OSX control software. The mouse worked anyway, but I couldn’t program the buttons, wheel or cursor acceleration.
The Logitech “Control Center” for OSX , here provides those capabilities. Once installed, it shows up at the bottom of the System prefernces pane, as described by rjung.
